I’m Steve, a friendly, patient and fully qualified driving instructor based in Blackpool, offering high-quality driving lessons across the FY area.

I created Steve’s Driving School with one goal: to provide supportive, personalised lessons that help every learner feel confident and in control behind the wheel.
With years of experience teaching in busy Blackpool conditions — from the Promenade to the residential streets of Bispham and Cleveleys — I know exactly how to guide learners through every stage of the journey.

Alongside this, I’m committed to keeping my skills current. I consistently invest in my own continued professional development to ensure every learner benefits from the most modern, effective and up-to-date teaching techniques.

I also use the Total Drive app for bookings, payments and progress tracking — giving you complete transparency and helping you stay organised throughout your learning journey.

In the wider industry, I’m proud to be a Brand Ambassador for Knowleagblee Instructor Training, a Driving Test Nerves Specialist with LofaWaytoPass, and a member of the DIA (Driving Instructors Association). These roles help me stay connected, informed and always improving, so you get the highest standard of instruction.
